Normally update this image if I get a better planet capture.

A great family portrait.

Any plans of printing this on quality photo paper and selling as bookmarks?

I'd buy a couple.

Hi John

That is a fantastic collection of solar system objects, the result of much hard work for sure. The stand out for me in this set is Saturn; simply put, it looks just stunning.

A terrific project and record of your 2012 imaging exploits.

Cheers

Dennis

Hey thanks guys! Appreciate the great comments. Truth be known, I didn't spend a lot of time on this, this morning & just threw it together with some images that weren't necessarily the best captures for the season, in particular Mars Jupiter & Saturn. Sounds like I should get serious!

Never thought of that Stu - Bookmarks. Interesting! I am in process of starting an online print store soon, so perhaps I'll let you know when that happens..

A portfolio to be proud of Asi. Shows how expert you've become through the years. Saturn is especially good. Maybe you need to include a Lunar image, given that it's part of the solar system and you've included Ganymede.

You are right Graeme however I purposely left it out due to the size - It's already 2000 pixel long. Not sure on the size here though; is there a maximum physical size?

Try this one guys. Added the moon in & a few other minor alterations. I should add, the original Neptune colour was not quite correct, but it was a mono capture with false colour added; now corrected hopefully. Uranus was over saturated as well so I gave that a 50% desaturate.

I like the colour corrections but prefer the first layout without the Moon.

Cheers, that was quick.

When you are set up, let me know how much you are looking at charging for two bookmarks on quality photo paper, postage etc?
