PMX 12" Extension Tube

For those with the PMX mount and tripod (pyramid), I recently ordered a 12" extension tube from Software Bisque to increase the height of the mount for my refractors. The extension tube arrived from the US in four days and it is beautifully finished and is in keeping with the mount and tripod construction. It came with the longer 3/8" UNC bolt which certainly saved looking for one. I have attached a pic of the mount with the new extension tube and Celestron C9.25" XLT OTA (not a refractor I know but was handy at the time of the photo) which seems to be the ideal height for viewing and AP.

To tell you the truth Marcus, I have owned and tried out most types of scopes and mounts over the years but the hardest thing is parting with them so they are found in most parts of the house under the guise of furnishings much to my wife's chagrin.
