M78 tuff nut to crack!!

Hi,

Here's my first attempt at M78, what of a bugger of thing to process!!

I used the orion cooler box operating at zero celsius, 8 and 16 minute subs at ISO 800 just over 2.5 hours, cooling really helped.

I've probably stretched a little too far, and the 16 minute subs were less than perfect tracking wise. Still quite happy with this cropped image and the canon 1100D performed well for an unmodded DSLR.

It is a toughy and you have done well. This needs far more data than you think so that you can process the fine details within.
Great effort nevertheless and you are certainly giving the cooler a workout.
