For sale is my four month old 127mm ED APO Triplet carbon fiber refractor + Moonlite Focuser + Televue RFL-4087 reducer/flattener.
Being sold due to financial reasons.
The scope and all other mentioned components are 4 months old. There is not a scratch on the OTA and the flattener/reducer has only been used three times. The worst you will find with the scope is some dust.
Included:
- 127mm ED APO Triplet Carbon Fiber refractor from Northgroup, same scope as the Meade 127. I do not know the exact weight of the scope, but it weighs only slightly more than the steel ED80 seen in the first image
- Road case for the refractor. Some slight dings in the corner sides, courtesy of TNT. Visible in the image.
- Tube rings + vixen bar + carry handle are included. There is some paint lost on the handle where tube rings were installed for a piggyback guidescope, see photos.
- Moonlite 2.5" focuser with 4.5" drawtube and high res stepper motor (computer controlled).
- Televue RFL-4087 2.4" 0.8x reducer/flattener. Works with 35mm sensor cameras.
- Moonlite screw adapter for mounting the Televue RFL-4087 to the focuser (seen in picture 3 and slightly in 4).
- 1mm, 2mm and 6.4mm spacers for the Televue RFL-4087. More spacer sizes are available at Bintel or other stores.
- T-thread adapter for the Televue RFL-4087. Standard male thread for mounting cameras. Other adapters available for purchase at stores.
All of the above cost me over US $3000 a few months ago.
Pickup only from Brisbane (northside) due to size and weight (road case is fairly heavy).
