Hi Brendon , if possible I would delete the software in the HC by loging onto Celestron's website and down loading the latest software . This usually fixes problems like this .

Have a go it aint hard , as I did this just reciently with my Ioptron HC , ( 8406 to 8409 update , took 30 miniutes )
they talked me thru the process,
