Ngc134

Managed to capture 105 min L and 60 min each of RGB with QSI583wsg in 5 min subs last night of NGC134 with 10" RC scope. Just like our own Galaxy, NGC 134 is a barred spiral with its spiral arms loosely wrapped around a bright, bar-shaped central region. One feature that stands out is its warped disc which may have been induced by a gravitational interaction with NGC131 which is seen above the main galaxy. NGC134 is a member of our galaxy group that includes NGC153.
Hope this is of interest and thanks for looking. Comments welcomed.

Very nice Allan. At Mag 10 you got some really good detail in there.

Clear skies

Another nice one Allan. Seems a bit too magenta though.

Cheers

Lovely capture. Looks like you had a bit of gradients to contend with.

Good stuff, Allan! You're certainly bagging a lot of galaxies.

Thanks for that Rod, I found it difficult to process this time as I went to 3am getting data and testing software and the moon really wrecked havoc with gradients and colour - so I was happy just to get some detail

find it difficult to get the colours spot on. Maybe I should just do monochrome which I prefer.
