Thumbs up EP Clearance Sale!

OK

In the spirit of offloading gear that doesn't get used, which seems a pretty popular thing to do at this time of year, here's the "Matt EP Firesale - Everything's Gotta Go" line-up.

For sale:

Skywatcher 6.3mm Plossl, $40
Skywatcher Super Plossl 10mm, $40
GS Plossl 15mm (fully multi-coated) $30
Skywatcher Plossl 26mm $30
Celestron E-lux (brand new) 25mm Plossl $40
and (drum roll please) 2x Optex Barlow $30 (fully multi-coated)

The lot.... $185

Unless otherwise stated all EPs are multi-coated.

They are only 4 months old apart from the Celestron which has been looked through once.

Buyer covers postage.

Off we go!

Oops!

Sorry. My mistake. Was basing my numbers on the numbers quoted in the Budget 15mm EP shootout piece written by Ice.

Thanks for the tip-off.

I'd say postage would only be about $5???

This has actually made me re-think my prices.

So I'm open to offers on anything and everything in the line-up.

I just wanna offload these EPs so I've got some room in my case!

OK.

GS 15mm Plossl SOLD

2x Barlow SOLD

That leaves the Skywatcher 6.3mm Plossl, $40
Skywatcher Super Plossl 10mm, $40
Skywatcher Plossl 26mm $30
Celestron E-lux (brand new) 25mm Plossl $40

These would all qualify as good knockabout EPs that you won't worry too much about if you let the kiddies or non-astro folk have a good play with!!!!

Rod

And that would be very close to the same deal Kerry Packer struck with Alan Bond for Ch9!!!

No, Rod. The 13mm is very nice and very happy at its new home and looking forward to new EP friends arriving soon to keep it company on those nights of "spacewalking".

Ah, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence....

Necessary sale to fund other purchases, I am afraid. Life is too short.

Everything still available except the 2x barlow.

Sale of 15mm fell through.

Am open to offers on individual items, as well as "package" deals. Make an offer for the lot?

Mate....

It's all still for sale! Including the 2x barlow.

I'll let the whole lot go for $150.

That's a pretty good deal, methinks..

Hey Ezy

There's not a great deal of difference, to be honest.

They give very similar views.

The E-lux is the eyepiece which Celestron supplies with their 9.25 SCT and has a barrel undercut where the 26mm SkyWatcher Plossl has a straight barrel.

Other than that, very similar. Even in price. I think both sell between $70 and $80.

I'm willing to lower my package deal price, by the way.

All 5 Eps (Skywatcher 6.3mm plossl, 10mm super plossl, GS 15mm plossl, Skywatcher 26mm plossl, Celestron E-lux 25mm plossl) and GSO 2x barlow for $140.

A nice collection for rough and tumble backyard viewing

No...

The Nagler's staying put for now!

It's only a recent acquisition, so it's only just unpacked its bags.

Will be staying at Chez Matt for a while before any potential house moves

Anyway, that's a few more dollars than the budget ep range.

As to your other question: it's the GSO 2x barlow.

It has a serial number KK112-9403011

You might be able to check it out based on that????

Cheers
