Here's some more info that has been requested.
The first image shows how you can attach this scope to pretty much anything using the supplied bolt/knob, or use any M6 size (I think) bolt. This base plate measures 58mm wide x 54mm front to back. There is plenty of room for a second hole if you wanted to add one, however once tight there is no risk of slippage.
The second image shows the slight lens imperfection and some flaking paint around the lens cell. The paint around the lens cell could easily be fixed with some fresh paint. This is the best photo I could get of the marks on the lens, the one on the left is a slight mark of some kind, looks like it could be some sort of growth but it has remained unchanged since I bought the scope 2-3 years ago. The mark on the right is a slight discolouration, that is only visible if you get the light on it right. Both marks appear to be between the lens elements and do not effect performance at all so I never bothered trying to clean them. Anything else thats visible on the lens is either a reflection or spec of dust. Again these marks have remained unchanged for years so I don't see any reason why they would get worse over time.
The last images shows the cool thumbscrew arrangement that allows fine but sturdy XY movement of several degrees in each direction.
Also 1.25 EP holder unscrews to leave a thread of some kind - maybe direct screw camera onto tube?
Measurements: Total length with drawtube in: 36cm, with draw tube at focal plane 42cm.
Width: Tube- 9cm, at widest point - 14cm
Feel free to request further info, there isn't a lot of info around on these scopes.
Dave.
