Very Hubble like Out of interest did you use Ha(R)HaOiii(G)Oiii(B) to get the green? If yes what ratios? Thanks.
Thanks Marc, I use anywhere from 23-30pc O3 with Ha in a layer this was probably 25pc. It seems to give the stars an RGB effect with yellows, whites and blues and Eta turned out orange so this works out well. Adding a separate RGB gives large stars which you don't always want in a busy nebula.
The percentage of O3 used depends how strong O3 data is and it was strong in the central Eta Carina area.
Sorry should be 25pc Ha 75pc OIII for synthetic Green !
John.

Thanks a lot for the detailled explanations mate. I wish all the top guys took notice and were as forth coming as you are when asked for processing tips. Good on you.
Sorry Marc got it the wrong way around its 75pc OIII and 25pc Ha. Layers get confusing in terms of what goes into what as I don't tend to think about it these days much.

Thanks again John - I've shot a lot of Ha and Oiii over the years but not much Sii. Will revisit some of my old shots and try out your method.
