Saturn 25th January - from Tassie

Well it was nice early, but by 1.26, it had deteriorated. 3 or 4 out of 10. Jetstream i believe!!

Got two avis, and then went and found myself my first planetary nebula!

Little rippa Dave! Pity about the rotten seeing huh!? Could you try stacking less images to get it less blurry do you reckon??

Hate to suggest this but.......hand stack it!! (he-he)

Looks soft, but it looks very nice also. You seem to have a some "banding" along the horizontal. It becomes obvious when you try to digitally sharpen the image. Maybe it's the CCD in the Toucam.

Another thing: Blue channel appears to be about 1.5 pixels above the rest in the image you posted.

I do like your image. That's why I'm picking on it! That's what I do with things I like: find flaws.

no need to apologise stevo, i appreciate the feedback!

also a quick run through on registax showed how messy it was, so no serious attempt at processing was done.
