Crash and Flow

Two more from the Turimetta Beach series, I was lucky with the timing when I captured Crash, a 1 second exposure @ f/9, ISO160 and at the 105mm end of the 24-105mm lens.

And Flow is a 3-exposure HDR that I originally didn’t like much, but I played with the processing a bit to give it more of a different feel, and now I’m happy with it

- Large 1
- Large 2

Thanks

Hi Mike

Lovely and quite dramatic seascapes, although probably slightly too much HDR for my palette. But boy, does that 5D Mk II scrub up well, the range of tones and their transitions look so smooooth!

You love these sea scapes don’t you – lucky lad to live so close by to such breathtaking scenery.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Dennis - yeh I know the HDR is overdone, I almost threw it away but turned it more into artwork. It appeals to some, others hate it

Nice shots Mike

The spray around the headland in the first image looks great.

Beautiful shots Mike. Nicely composed and executed.
