Love my Hyperstar

I have attached my 2nd go with my new Atik 428EX ccd and Hyperstar on my C11 after figuring out the debayering and colour balance. I have a long way to go but very excited to get these images and the colours better balanced. Any feedback is appreciated. Most are 12-15 images debayered, aligned and stacked in Dawn, 20-30 sec images, colours balanced in photoshop, all 6 taken last night - no darks, flats, or biases as yet.

Amazing to get all that in one night.
It looks like you have some guiding issues & maybe the focus is off?

Focus and guiding

Thanks Alpal, I will work on those issues. I was just so excited to get it all working and overcome a colour issue I was struggling with (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=89690) I just received a remote microfocuser and will try that with a Bahtinov mask. These were all unguided so will add that next time as well but still fine tuning the drift alignment - a wedge is not easy to be subtle in the azimuth adjustment (at least for me). Thanks for the feedback, I have a long way to go but enjoying the ride

Hi Peter,
I hope you get it all sorted.
You have made progress.

I have my system sorted now but there is always bad weather.
I've decided I'm not buying any more astro gear until this bad weather stops.
I think we've hardly had more than 1 clear moonless night in Melbourne
since January.
I haven't taken any pics since then.
