(PRICE DROP) Meade LX 200 ACF 12"

Hi All.

I have a LX200 ACF 12" for sale. Its fork mounted and in excellent condition. This was bought through Astro Optical Supplies last June so is only 10 months old. includes original finder scope, dust cap, meade enhanced 99% reflectivity diagonal with 1.25" adapter, Meade SC thread to 2" Accessory Adapter, 1.25" diagonal and visual back and a 12 VDC power supply cable. Would frefer not to sell the tripod, but would consider if someone wanted it. GOTO's are spot on, but have never mounted it equatorialy. Excellent optics. Original foam packaging will be used to ship, call for shipping arangement. Asking $3300. (sold)

Optec TCF-S 2" temperature compensating focuser bought december last year from sirius optics in excelent condition. Includes all cables, software and a handbox for manual operation. Comes with 2 telescope adapters including a 3.25" thread for the back of the LX200. New price $1200, asking $700 (sold)

Kendrick Astrozap flexible dew shield for 12" meade scope, felt lined inside with built in dew heater and has a Kendrick Micro Firelite Controller, includes all cables. bought last December, in excelent condition. Asking $125 (sold)

Now asking $3300.

I have new astrophotography gear on the way and i will not need this scope.

Hi Josh,
Can you post a pic of the corrector directly front on. The first image above looks like something is still on the corrector.

Hi Joshua, I see some marks on the corrector plate, what has caused them? In this condition I would offer you $2400 and take the risk.

Hugh, There are some marks that show when the corector has dew on it, otherwise they dont show. I dont know what causes them, I have been very careful where i use the scope. what photo are you refering to?

Corrector marks

I was referring to photo 1 and 4 and the bluish marks that appear to be in the coatings. I assume if it was just a surface mark you would have cleaned it off before you took the photos. Are there other marks apart from the ones I mentioned that appear when there is dew on the corrector?
