Not at this stage, however am considering splitting the HEQ5/Skywatcher and the balance.

Could you tell me the weight of the Tube, mounting Rings and Plate, the star-diagonal and Finder scope please.
Trying to solve a weight issue for a goto system I am looking at whose max. weight is 5kg.
Looks like you will find takers for the EQ5 system if you do split them so it could all work out.
If I buy it then I will take the appropriate case as well.
