I purchased this EP brand new approximately 18months ago from Takahashi Australia. I paid $295 at the time plus PPH.
This eyepiece is in mint condition with all its original Tak box, caps, packaging, paperwork etc - its providence is the Takahashi factory to me (there have been other 'supposedly' 2nd hand LE's previously for sale which were more likely 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th hand etc). Supplied with this eyepiece is the original receipt of purchase and thus it also comes with the remainder of the 5 year Tak warranty. I have used this EP approximately a dozen times at the most in the time.
This LE 7.5mm is indistinguishable from a brand new EP and is suitable for someone looking to save money in purchasing one themselves brand new.

This is an outstanding eyepiece .... I owned one until recently ... sold it to another IIS Member. The images through this eyepiece are nothing but ' superb '. Nice black ' velvet ' background .. diamond like stars ... to the pinpoint.
It ' screams ' of high quality .... very nice indeed.
I only sold mine on because ... I prefer longer focal length eyepieces.
Okay - 2nd and last price drop. Anything less and I would rather keep it as this EP has seen very little use and is indistinguishable from a brand new EP.
