Saturn 12th March

The usual indicators were for ordinary conditions this morning, and they certainly looked ordinary when I went to bed last night. I went out at about 3:30am to check the chickens and was surprised to find things had improved (probably to about 7/10). It was far too late for Mars for me (trees) but Saturn was riding high, so I forced my tired aching body (or was it my mind) into action and set my gear up to grab some AVIs
This is the last of them before I ran out of steam.

Your best yet Rob. Seeing up in the riverland looked great but unfortunately I was minus a telescope and camera gear. Lovely work.

Too bad about the timing but I hope you had a good time in the Riverland as some compensation!
