First Mars out for the 23rd Feb

I was too tired to stay up and process this morning, as I had to head to work
This is my first attempt at the first AVI.
Not sure if I will get through it all before bedtime tonight

Nice work Rob, arrrr sleep, amazing how little we can get away with during a run of seeing. Work, well thats another thing. Fortunately I no longer have that problem.

Cheers

Very nice detail there Rob, the cloud stands out and detail within the pole cap. Is this with the DBK?

How many images stacked? Looks to me like it could be your best so far. All the best.

Good detail Rob, you're improving your technique with each session. That cloud is pretty stark!

Nice work Rob. Horizontal lines in the first; I can relate of course, having the same cam. You could try cutting that image out of the background & then replacing but with a 45 degree rotation before combing. Some software programs are hopeless for this though. Anyway, sometimes this will kill these lines stone dead.

Nice work mate!

Very nice images with lots of detail Rob. Well done. Maybe the processing has been pushed a bit to produce some graininess in the background of the 2nd. With such a long capture window I'd encourage you to stack more frames to get a smoother background.

Well a lot depends on the seeing at the time but I certainly agree with Graeme here Rob. Even in 1/10 I'd be stacking more than 400. Depends on the *type* of seeing too of course!

Normally I don't bother capturing when the jetstream is blurring the live feed out 100% but studying your image(s) they suggests conditions were better than 100% jetted out. These days it's 2000 in the stack minimum, & if that doesn't work out it's off to the recycle bin.
