Where did Starkler (Geoff) go?
Does anyone know whatever happened to Geoff (Starkler)?
His last post was almost a year ago now, in the Snake Valley Camp March 2011 thread.
I know some Melbourne folk in here kept in touch with him personally. Just wondering if he is OK

Hi Ken
that's a bit of a mystery hey? His last post was a bit ominous too, - sort of enshrouded in a suggestion of bad news. Hope all turns out well with him

Yes, I too have wondered that, hope all is well, however it dose occur with some members from time to time and then they are back, i suppose there are other important issues from time to time.

Yep I've noticed him missing too. Perhaps he's just taking a break from astronomy?
Speaking of "missing" members, haven't seen Les around here in a while either. He used to be pretty active in the Observing forum, he always had something interesting to chip in.

last time I spoke to Geoff, he was looking at different work prospects and possibly going into business for himself and if so I hope he is going well in that endeavour.
I think like myself changes in life Astronomy can take a back seat for a while, but some day I hope to see Geoff again and look through his beautiful SDM.

Hi Sab, I see Les plenty on facebook. He also made a post about a month ago on Mozzie's obs thread in the obs forum (double stars).
Speaking of missing members, I've been wondering whatever has happened to Molly. Does anyone know?

Molly only joined IIS 3 months ago and has never made a post.
I don't know how you miss someone that hasn't even posted yet
and her stats say she hasn't even been in here since the day she joined.
