Mars January 24th

Some reasonable seeing in Adelaide this morning. Managed to capture some orographic clouds on Mars.

This is an RGB, 1800 frames stacked for each.

C11 + TV 2.5x Powermate + Orion LRGB + DMK21AU04.

Looking forward to March!

-Ivan

Those are the "orographic" clouds. They form around the peaks of the volcanoes. I think the ones on the limb are the Tharsis volcanoes, and the one further inboard is Olympus Mons.

Ray, Rob, Trevor, Troy, thanks for looking and the kind comments. We have some pretty planets in the morning sky for the next couple of months.

I'm really enjoying my DMK camera. Sure beats the colour webcam I had for last year.
