Comet Lovejoy and SMC from Newcastle

Hi all
Here is my widefield effort on Comet Lovejoy and SMC. oops I mean the LMC
6x5 mins ISO200. Modded 350D. 50mm f1.8 @ f3.5. 2 inch uv/ir filter in front. Moisture on lens prevented going any longer plus was getting late. Also done a monochrome negative version.

Nice one Scott.
If it's fine again tonight I'll give it a go with the modded camera instead

OOPS, thanks Mike
Thanks all. Wonder if the HST would show a nucleus if it was used to image the comet?

Justin.
