AP Riccardi Honders

Just got the nod from AP....

.........after many, many, many moons of waiting, I can finally expect to take delivery of a 12" F3.8 Riccardi Honders in 2012

At least you were not waiting for delivery on a AP 160 refractor. For the price tag ($17K USD) and the quality of Rolands work it should be an exceptional performer. I have been following his forum thread on Astromart on the development and testing of this scope. What camera are you going to match up with this scope?

Actually, I was waiting on an AP160 (May 1999 no less ! ) , but the prognosis of delivery was not good, hence swapped lists....

STX16803 shoud deliver a suitable field

Hmm...you already have a AP155 F7 refractor in your inventory so I am not sure what an additional 5mm was going to give you. Either way real nice choice of scope and I also look forward to seeing the results the APRH/STX16803 combination produces.

With those specs it's time for an all sky mosaic I think Peter. Congrats on the new scope.
