Closing in on 10,000 members

Hi,

Just noticed on the home page there is now 9,965 registered members of IIS.

This is quite a jump, helped recently I think by the total Lunar Eclipse and Comet Lovejoy no doubt.

What a great milestone it will be for Mike, Terry and all IIS admin as well as the larger community in general to crack the 10K.

Thanks for such a great website guys!

p.s. should we start a separate sweep on the date/time/hour of when we crack the magic 10,000???

It would seem the Love and Joy have taken us over the 10,000 mark (as I type we have hit 10,002). Now that is something to feel good about! Congrats to Mike and Terry Mohan for their commitment over the years to see this forum grow to what it is today!

10000 is quite a big achievement. currently 10074!
thats impressive, especially to know there is atleast 10074 people in (mostly) australia who are interested in astronomy more than just knowing the sky is up.
