Supernova in Pinwheel Galaxy

Hi IIS, just read this article and thought I'd share:

http://www.thestatecolumn.com/scienc...tured-by-nasa/

Has anyone heard about this supernova? I cannot seem to find any high resolution images of this supernova, I'd really love to have a look at some!!

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks Ron!

It's interesting that the article said NASA has released some images two days ago. I couldn't find any on the NASA website itself. Maybe they'll put some up soon, who knows!
