If it was only hereditary - My Daughter's success

Its not often that I think that my Daughter is smart - given that she is Ditzy around the house and more than occasionally comes out with the most interesting pearls of wisdom resulting in me crying from laughing, shaking my head in wonder.

Well today i missed the school presentation of a few awards to her - i am trying to finish up work so i can enjoy my holidays that start on Friday where normally i would have been there. Anyway - I am a proud dad - sometime this year she had a brain transplant i am sure. She ended up with 7 first in subject awards and then took out the year 9 Best in year award.

She must have got the smarts from her mum

you know she still cant spell

- proof reading her asignments has to be done manually as she has corrupted the spell check on the pC. But bask in her glory i will do - i know what went into the mix to get her there.
