Eclipsed Moon and Hyades

Hi again,

some fun had tonight taking my first lunar eclipse shots.

No tracking, just a tripod, so I thought I might try a wider field.

Hyades on the left, eclipsed moon on the right.

Hope you like it.

Canon 1000D, 300mm lens, ISO 1600, 2 sec exposure @ F5.6

great wide field chris!!!!

i pointed my iphone at the moon and stars for some shots but don't think they will turn out any good

Thanks Mozzie! would have been nice for some more stars, but I was firing off shots every thirty seconds...
