Lunar Eclipse test movie + a Satellite

Hi all,

While out testing lastnight with my modified straight through finderscope and Philips 900NC on the Moon, tracking on my Orion Teletrack Mount, I captured a quick glimpse of a satellite transiting the moon. I shot 8 movies, each 120sec apart, and each 200 frames @ 15FPS. I then combined and aligned in Sony Vegas etc..

Here is the link to the youtube video...

and the animated GIF of the satellite pass...

Hopefully we get to see the eclipse! What a waste with most of the Australian capitals expecting rain/cloud cover.

That's no moon, it's a space station. Oh wait, it's the moon as well, and is that really the Space Station? Nice work Andrew! Hope it is clear for you tonight

Not sure if it is the space station, I caught another satellite just before this one also, almost in exactly the same line too... Should have had 30fps on, may have shown it better...
