Panasonic DVD Surround System
I am selling our Panasonic SC-HT878 DVD Home Theatre DVD Surround System.
This is a genuine Panasonic and comes complete with the following components:
- Main DVD/CD player and receiver (Model # SA-HT878) - Photo 1
- Active subwoofer amplifier unit (Model # SW-HT878) - Photo 2
- 5 speakers, including 2 front, 2 rear and centre speaker - Photo 3
- Remote control
- User manual
The unit is fully operational with the following features:

- Multi Format Playback - plays all the following: DVD Audio,DVD-Video,DVD-RAM/-R,SVCD,VCD,CD-R/RW,HighMAT,WMA,MP3,JPEG and HDCD
- 4-step subwoofer control
- Super Surround Sound and Dolby Pro Logic II
- FM/AM Digital Tuner
- The four upright speakers can detach from their bases and be wall-mounted.
There are some minor cosmetic scratches on some surfaces, mainly on the bases of the speaker stands. These are purely cosmetic only and only noticeable from up very close, and certainly do not affect the performance of the unit. In general the presentation is very good. It is a very compact, but easy to use system and served us well for some three years.
I would suggest this would be an ideal system for their first home theatre setup or an alfresco/undercover entertainment area, and ideal for anyone looking at buying a good quality, respected brand surround sound system at a very affordable price.
