Heads up Bunnings cases
Noticed today that Bunnings Launceston have a shipment of Craftech black pelican knockoffs at $65 from memory (or $69 if I'm wrong). They are the big ones that will fit an EQ6 mount comfortably (I have mine in one). Might be worth checking your local Bunnings if you're after one.

Craft Right Safe Case
Hi,
Bunnings Carlingford does not have any. I went to Bunnings at North Parramatta just now with my wife. She bought two for me as a Christmas present, paid for with my credit card - its the thought that counts!
There were at least 15 of those cases left.

Well the interior dimensions, with all the foam out, are about 50X35X20 cm.

Fahim, an EQ6 just fits, if you can relate the G11 back to the Eq6 in size that will give you an idea.

Yes, see post #39. You might need to put some additional padding though in some sections as the foam compresses after time under the weight, other than that I use the case all the time when taking it out.

Fits the EQ6 PRO HEAD AND X2 COUNTERWEIGHTS
Bunnings(Mentone) have zero stock, however Bunnings ( Moorabbin) have about 4 left,l picked mine up this arvo, for $65.I retained the top-inner lid foam, and bottom foam, and kept the other two pieces as spares.I removed the EQ6 PRO head from the tripod, and voila, it fits perfectly ,INCLUDING the x2 5kg counterweights, which l have to the right hand side.I cut some high density foam,to separate the counterweights from the head. The eyepiece tray/hand controller/2.5 amp/12V AC supply, l have in a separate box,for safe keeping. Now the EQ6 is stored away perfectly, after enjoying some rock-solid views of jupiter ,with my 7.1 inch Mak/casssegrain.Now its time to get out the 11 inch Schmidt Cassegrain
