December 3 Sun

Captured these this morning. More to come.

The disk is of course a mosaic of 2 stacks and the high res Ha strip across the active regions is a mosaic of 8 stacks captured with a 2.5x Powermate in the train.

A lovely set Al, the full solar discs are gorgeous and help convey what a powerhouse our Sun is.

Off on a tangent, we had an extremely rare visit from a frog (many cane toads – too few frogs...) in our pool, a Pobblebonk frog and I couldn’t help but notice your observatory name – are they related?

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Dennis. Yes, I think they'd be the same frog... just a different dialect.
