I could even see an outline of it in the red subs with screen stretch on high Rick, so a dark site makes a huge difference.

For example if Mike used one of those chips on his AG12 it would really be a problem.
You may get better looking stars with 5 minute or 7.5 minute subs. I judge exposure length by the maximum before the brightest stars start to spill over. For my scopes that is about 5 minutes.
10 minutes is fine at F8 and long focal length but wide field and fast the small wells damage the bright stars first and generally speaking you will lose colour info as too many wells become saturated.
It probably is a low noise camera so there isn't much of an issue of stacking more. It makes tracking easier too.

The blue channel seems to bloat a bit on this FS60 Greg. See the attached image of the top left image star from the Green and Blue channels. Notice the small stars are tighter in the blue, only the big ones seem to bloom. That Blue has been deconvolved though. I know I don't have the flattener spacing exact on this scope and I think this is why I have to robofocus between colours. 10 minutes seems to be ok on my other scopes from Peters place and Blue doesn't bloom on them either.

Cheers guys, I've been after a pic of this for a few years but it's so big it's hard to fit it into a normal view. Good old FS60, a surprising little scope and it works well from a dark site
