H-alpha Sun November 6th 2011

Despite it being a Sunday (pardon the pun) I was up rather early, noted some high Cirrus rolling in and thought.."should image Sun before brekky"

Glad I did.....as the seeing was pretty good.

I also used a different 16bit Skynyx capture mode with Lucam Recorder.... ....which will be become my standard from here on in...as the raw data results were pretty good.
(down-side is 1Gb file sizes per frame...I needed 12 frames for the image below. 12GB of data takes time to process! )

Thanks Mike.... It was evolving quite quickly, infact had changed shaped before I could do a second mosaic run.

Very nice Peter. The seeing certainly went down hill later in the day when I had a look.

Thanks Ted... yes the high cloud increased as the day went on..I had given it away by 9.00 am
