Now please dont dump on me on this one , OK?
I have this movie and when I feel pissed at my boss I play it and all is well , things are OK .

Ready ,,,
I do like this movie , Peter even though the science is all out of date , eg. time line wise ,,,
But I like the acting , the actors made this movie , and really enjoyed them selves , You can see it in there ... Fun , Acting? .

Its a fun Si Fi , not to be taken seriously , because 3000 yrs in the future , ...?
Ready ...
its ....
I have read the book ,
It's

Battle Field Earth , with John Travolta and Co. .
Fellow Si Fi fan
Brian.

It's ok Brian, I always suspend my brain anyway.....or is it that I just switch the chip off!

All sci-fi is good Just some are better than others.

And yes, I will add Immortality to my collection, when I find it. Sci-Fi accounts for about 240 titles in my collection and counting.

As for french films, I have a few of those in my collection. The French make good films. I have a good thriller called Nest. It is a conflagration of events coming together for some explosive action.

But, my favourite French film is Crimson Rivers. It is a psycho thriller with a killer of a twist at the end. I also love Psychological Thrillers.

Frankly, I just love all sorts of movies.

The absolute worst sci-fi film for me would have to be Babylon AD. I liked Vin Diesel in Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riiddick ( a new one is coming called COR: Dead Man Walking) but Babylon AD was crap, to put it mildly!

Watched Immortality last night. Interesting mix of comic, CGI and live action. Complex story, but I enjoyed it. I also liked the sign that had a nod to astronomy. Just before Jill went into the bar where she met Nikopol, there was a sign with the name Tycho Brahe.

Good movie, if a little different. In fact, I don't think I have seen a film quite like this since Dark City.

Its Ok though , the French are hard at work ,,, " and if you can give me just a little automony ,,, can I PLEASE pick my own clothes" Nikipol's quote , after being fixed by the railway iron and lazer eyes ... Oh yea the dead dont feel pain...

My absolute favourite is Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I have it on Bluray, it's awesome. On this theme, the series Taken would have to be next. It's Close Encounters on steriods! I just wish they would bring that out on Bluray. The alien recording device is just awesome and the 'super b***h' it was just delightful..I'm in love

My next all time favourite is, dare I say it, Firefly and the movie Serenity. It was a much unrated show...Cowboys in Space Doesn't get much better than that. I just watch it over and over; definitely left wanting more.

My observatory is called Serenity! What a nerd, hey

I have Skyline on my other PC which is connected to the '' Big Screen " and the audio is " pumped " through a Yamaha 7.1 Home Theater.

I grab the popcorn, iced-coke, Doritos ... and " hot'n spicey " Pizza
and ( turn all the lights off ) ... then take in a good Movie ... like Skyline.

Quite like my Sci-Fi ... waiting for Battleship 2012.

Watch the Trailer .... Awesome stuff .. !!!

Sci-Fi without surround sounds.....never. Surround sound was made for Sci-Fi, wasn't it

My neighbour complains when I watch Sci-Fi and I have to turn it down Please give me a 200 hectare paddock, so that I can listen to my surround sound and watch the stars without lights.

I have to turn it down as my neighbour is really good about leaving the lights off most of the time. I will rock this place if she ever decides to leave them on Not really, she is a nice neighbour.

Hey Flash. There seems to be a dearth of sci-fi over the next couple of years. There isn't much in production at present
