Sol with binos & kodak.

This is my first picture of the sun I've ever bothered to take, & it came out as expected

I own no solar film or filters so I taped a # 14 shade welding glass onto the binos, held a pair of sunnies in front of the camera lens & fired off a few lol. Got me a sunspot too!

Yeah John, I have to say great technique, must been a handful to hold.
Interesting colour reproduction too!

If I was more financial naturally I'd invest in some solar film + filters...but times are tough at present. The welding glass + sunnies works ok sort of lol.

Not much interest in the sun really so I doubt I'll be getting into this in a big way. Had to try it though.
