340fps high resolution camera

Apparently it is 340 frames per second at 2048 x 1088 resolution, might be useful for solar or lunar imaging?

I have been looking at Machine Vision cameras for the same reason but currently out of my affordability range at the moment. Should be able to get many descent frames in heavy turbulence.

CameraLink aren't as handy as GigE, which can be connected to a laptop + laptop HDD won't be able to handle such data load.

I should get for tests the GigE CMOSIS CMV4000 Basler when it will be ready Thats 2048 x 2048

My laptop is a quad core i7 with a fast SSD in it, so I'm hoping it will keep up if any of these new cameras turned out to be of use.

But you still need to connect CameraLink to a laptop

No problem, there is a card for it, and GigE is coming.
