For sale:300mm f2.8 ED AI-S Nikkor lens
Legendary Nikon fast telephoto lens with hood, manual focus, pristine glass, recently professionally serviced, some minor wear on outside paint but generally in very good to excellent condition. Includes a bahtinov mask, aperture mask and LowePro padded case. This lens works very well with a Canon lens mount converter to connect to your EOS and easily covers a 35mm frame wide open. Selling because I have way too much gear. These lenses only go cheap on the used market when they are very battered and bruised - the lens on offer here is neither.
plus:Nikon TC300 2x teleconverter
with caps, to suit the above 300mm lens and from same era. Excellent condition, spotless glass. A great performer.

Just for interest, this sort of lens lends itself to automated or motorised focus when used with a robofocus motor cotrol and a rubber belt, as seen in the pic. This allows focus to be reached quickly. In this case I have a large CCD camera attached. I didn't get any useful results with this rig though - everytime I attempted it cloud was in the way and I've since moved on to other gear.
