boat cruise

hi all !!!!!
just come back from the pacific jewel boat cruise, went to noumea, mystery island and isle of pines for 8 nights and wow talk about the time of my life...
great food, great shows, great snorkeling..wow..i,m sitting here on the stool and struggling to stay on it it's quiet funny i seem to want to fall of all the time and going through security at the airport i walked into the scanner and got a terrible look from the security guards
i,m sun burnt and not to impressed about starting work tomorrow but it must be done...i try'd to use my bino's on the boat but i bit to much movement and the ship is lit up way to much to see..though the sunsets were fantastic and the full moon ..sounds like elise is going to the travel agents to see about booking another in 18 months well can't complain about that... couple of weeks to astro camp better get back to work..

Excellent mate... I'm actually going on the same cruise early next month.

Bummer the binos didn't work, I was thinking of taking mine along, but I think I'll leave them at home.

Great to hear u had fun, can't wait for my turn... Lol

Take your binos.
From Peter's decription I would not be sure it was the boat movement that was at fault. I did many "cruises" with the "Grey funnel line". Had no trouble with binos.

I wanted to take a breath for you - you were wrote like you were talking really fast.

So you can really feel those big ships move side to side hey.. I was wondering that just the other day. I get sea sick just looking at a boat. Give me binos on top of that and I'd be stupendously sick. I'm good in a little tin boat floating down an inlet tho.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday Peter.

Yes I did the "Grey Funnel Line" thing too - 12 years!
Take your binos - there's a spot behind the funnel which is pretty much enclosed with only minimal lighting - and of course you can cop a skeg at the islands as you approach during daylight.

Glad to hear you had a great time Peter.
If you're keen to go on a cruise at the end of next year, may I recommend this one.

This one will most definitely be Astronomy and Science orientated.
