Red Planet descovered at Brundah

You may be aware Brisbane had quite heavy smoke haze last couple of days.
These images were taken yesterday 1727hrs, hand held from my back patio.
Canon 50D 70-300IS.

The last image is closest to reality 235mm f/11 1/1000 ISO 800.

Yep, there's a bit of smoke hanging about.
My full sympathy goes out to those with asthma. It's terrible isn't.

A blood red sun in the evening is the only good thing about.
Lovely captures.

Yes apparently likely to coninue for a few more days.

Pre-dawn & Sunrise yesterday was also quite spectacular.

Yesterday's sunset was awesome, like we were on surface of Venus!

I have asthma.
Not nice -
My eyes have been streaming for two days now as well.
I keep hoping the inversion layer will collapse and allow the smoke out -

Nice work. Same red/pink sunset from Binna Burra yesterday. Wish this smoke would flock off.

We have a lot of smoke up here too, right down the east coast of Aus at the moment.

Lovely colours and framing David.
