For sale Meade LX50 10 Fork mount, wedge and tripod.
As per photos, plus instruction manual and hand control box.
Well used but works as follows: Hand control box operates RA. However, Dec motor gone, so requires manual adjustment. Has no encoders, so assume the autoguiding function does not work never tried it myself.
Custom fitted aluminium mounting plate with handle can hold various scopes, cameras, etc. (scopes in photos NOT included!). Very heavy weight capacity. Original 10 OTA weight alone was 32 lbs/15kg.
Adapter plate (included, with bolts) also allows use as Alt-Az mount, without wedge.
Reason for selling? Take your pick: Dog filed for divorce, wife bit me, ATO liened on my OTA, have permanent observatory.
Will consider selling wedge and tripod elements separately, but only after fork mount taken.
