My M-27 page updated
Hi guys,
Waiting the next New Moon to finish my NGC6960 image, i just updated my M-27 page with the zoomify window and 2 OIIIRGB versions.
This image has been taken with my ASA Astrograph 12" f/3.62 with 18h50min. of luminance. I had created a luminance using one H-Alpha luminance and one OIII luminance combined at 50% under PhotoShop.
Information and images here : http://www.poigetdigitalpics.com/m27AOcolorgal.html
Warmest Regards,
Florent

If you did not see the Zoomify window, the link was not good when you click on the small picture. I just updated with the correct link. All is good now !
Thanks once again.

As the saying goes, "There's no replacement for displacement!"
Very nice detail.

Brilliant shot, Florent
The detail is amazing, especially in the outer gas shells.

Fantastic
The best image I've seen of M27. Jaw dropping material.
Excellent!

Wow that's without a doubt the best M27 image I have seen.
I used to look at this one often when I lived in the northern hemisphere. It's nice to see it so beautifully presented! Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you once again
And now with my LaCie graphic art monitor, the processing is very well adjusted. A real pleasure.

Yeh, this a beauty Florent, some amazing extensions there ..looking at your comparison images, it's amazing how the standard has lifted over the years, an image of M27 these days that doesn't show the faint outer extensions is only a mediocre image
I look forward to going long and deep with my AG12 too...this shot has certainly wet my appetite, thankyou.

Overall I like it. Its taken a while like any new piece of gear to get to know it and what its best capabilities are and how to make it sing.
Greg.

Thank you very much Mike
You bought one AG12 ? That is the brother of the ASA 12". How is it ? If you take M27, i would be very interested by the result. Keep me posted.
I know you've had a bad experience with your old ASA Astrograph, what a pity !
Do you use the CATSEYE tool to collimate your AG12 ?
Thanks once again.
Warmest Regards,
Florent
