Snapped something flying through a focus frame

10 second through the luminance filter whilst composing an image of M8.

Any ideas what this might be?

Murphy must be an astronomer - what are the odds that a 10sec exposure on a relatively small field would yield something passing through the field.

Looks like a satalite or a Jetstar to me. Nothing out of the ordinary if you image down here.

Quite high actually.

I have deleted probably several hundred images over the years with satellites, space junk, meteors, planes, and all sorts things through them.
It gets annoying some nights.

Now I do 'Live' video I see even more of them but because it is live feed, and we are sitting there watching it, they don't spoil anything. They actually enhance the experience now as it is a race to see who out of all the online viewers mentions it first

It's kind of cool watching all sorts of stuff move through a live broadcast
