Hi all, Got this image of Saturn last night in calm/dewy conditions. Using DMK, 2.5x barlow and 14" LX200.

Looks great - still a worthy target - how long has Saturn season got to go?

Thanks for your comments Matt. I'd say Saturn will be good for a few months yet.

Looks like really nice data there Lester, even though the angle of the rings relative to the Earth have been closing ( 8 degrees on April 24th) can still trace the CD for quite some distance across the planet. Some very nice storm detail in there as well.

Very well done.
Regards
Trevor

Great image Lester. Impressed that your system can still resolve Cassini practically all the way round, as Trevor noted. Regards Ray

Thanks Ray for your comments. From my few years living just out of Pt Lincoln, seems April is the month that can produce good conditions.

Very nice.

Saturn is the first thing I always go to when it's up. Never get tired of looking at it.
