Cocoon Galaxy

Hello guys,

difficult subject that has created some problems for me during processing because of the large central part of much brighter than the rest of the galaxy. The sky is kind at this time in my area , definitely the best of possibilities with FWHM around 2 "... I wonder how much longer this will last a state of grace ...

This is the galaxy NGC 4490 or Cocoon Galaxy. Truly a fascinating object to behold:

I miss the H-Alpha, but I could not do it, hopefully later this month.

I hope you enjoy it.

It 's great. I think you did a masterful job. A good resolution in relation to the 10 inches that has worked great here
