Sunrise 25th March

Good Morning from Kilcoy!

Taken from my front verandah.
It's a horrid little house I live in, but boy o boy, the views are to die for.

Oh my goodness.
Who would have thought that this photo would have such consequences.
I posted it on Face Book as is my want. At exactly the same time a friend, in Holland, Geert Sassen, posted his sunset image.
We discussed the surrealism of the fact, that it was the same sun ,photographed at the same time.
He said, wouldn't it be great if everyone took a photo of the sun at the same time, or as close at possible to the same time.
Soooo, I got in contact with my friend "Camilla" from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory , seeing if they would back this idea.
Well, they loved it.
Looks like in April, we'll be having a world wide synchronised photograph the Sun Day.
I'll let you know more closer to the time.
