Last Night's Late Lunage

Taken with SBIG STL 11000M @ .001 sec. F4.5 22" Newtonian.
The softer version is via Digital Development Processing (DDP) option in the SBIG CCDOPS software.

Nice Richard, I prefer the 2nd one without the blown out highlights.

It could use some tweaking still but a very nice image!

Thanks Mike. I like the second image as well. It lost a lot of detail though when I compressed it. I was actually trying to get a good image the new SN in NGC 4219 when the moon glare in my camera caused me to finally give up and move over to the (very close by) moon - if you can't beat 'em join em!
