Have attached a mozaic made up of 3 overlapping pictures of M42. These were taken using a modified Samsung SCB-2000 1/3" security ccd camera ( IR filter removed) attached to a C9.25" operating at about F3. Camera was set up at senseup x64 (1.1second integrated exposure) and 270 frames were deinterlaced and then stacked in registax , dark frame used. Three overlapping pictures were arranged to form a mozaic in photoshop ,the colour needs tweaking in white balance settings., but overall a pleasing result for a second attempt (camera settings are a steep earning curve ,makes for interest).

These cameras come into their own on 'live' video, but really make life hard for imaging and stacking.
They can do it and sometimes do it well, but its a lot of work.
Hi jj,
It's 0.0001lux at x512 sense up whilst the g star colour is .002lux at sense up x256 , so I think it's more sensitive than g star colour.downside it's only 1/3" sensor upside it's $126 delivered compared to about $490 for the G star colour. More diddly to use but takes good colour pics. looking at the 4000 next, it has a 1/2" sensor.Still like my monochrome g star.
