Seeing was above average near dawn, with some fine detail present and moderate amplitude (but rapidly varying) larger scale wobbles. Tried a few sequences with longer fls, but went back to ~ 4m - seems to be about the best compromise for Saturn with this scope under typical conditions. And the moon was impossible to ignore, so took some images of that as well. Thanks for looking.

Hi Trevor. Thanks for your positive comments. I was very pleased when a bit of storm detail emerged in this Saturn image. Lot of luck though - I was ready to pack up for the night but decided to do one last run and chanced on a bit of fairly stable air.

Hi John. Thanks for your comments. Yes, with a smaller scope it's sometimes hard to find the best combination of parameters - there is always a shortage of well behaved photons. regards Ray
