The witch

Hi folks,

IC 2118 is one of my favorite objects. But so difficult. Deep in the south (hello from Europe ) and there are so many geostationary satellites.

I made some frames in December and January. But I am still processing...

A lot of dust and nebulas in the area. I checked it out, the different colours in the background are real.

Procesed with THELI and for colour calibration Regim.

http://www.prokyon.startime.at/Bilde...18_colours.jpg

Done with the Moravian G2-8300FW and Canon EF 200. LRGB 23x600s L and 6x600s for R,G and B.

Cheers

Werner

This is an exquisite rendition Werner.
This fov you are getting is great in the way that it is showing up all these extra objects.
The amount of data has really payed off as this is such a faint area to image.
Nicely processed as well.

Congrats!

Rich

Thank you Mike and Mike!

I used the GradientXTerminator. It was very helpful. This pic was the reason for me to buy it.

Cheers
