Things You Do When Bored

Photos taken of smoke shot with cannon 17-40mm.
This is only 3 shoots of about 200.
Bored, Bored, Bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

Some nice patterns and pretty colours – good work. Did you do these in a darkened room using flash?

As you can see pretty simple setup. The best thing to do is get the flash off the camera. I also put cardboard on the side of the flash to direct light onto the smoke and not the background. Use a dark room and set a high F no: I used F11-16. Thats about it.
