Hi Chris,

you could reduce the size using a program like prism video converter, convert it to mp4 and then upload to youtube. its free for 30 days.

you can resize it before converting as well. that will reduce file size.

Thanks Alistair,

I can't imagine that I will ever be doing much of this kind of thing, and the current video clips uploaded successfully, just very slowly!
Maybe when the NBN goes in, if ever!

But I will checkout the prism program, and I'm sure there are freeware programs that will do conversions etc.

Cheers
Chris

OK, third small clip of Shane Gilbert has been successfully rotated!

Windows Movie Maker, apparently it came with Windows XP, makes me wonder what other unused programs I have on my computer!

The Youtube link is...

Been flat out since I got back from camp and what a weekend it was!!!
Thanks once again Ken for a ripper weekend and thanks to everyone for the laughs. Had a few good clear nights but Monday was great until the Sun once again crashed the party.
Shane Gilbert is a true legend with his usual brilliant performance.
Got a few pics from one of my cameras and will have to sort through my other camera tomorrow. so here are a few snaps for now.

Cheers Daniel.

Nice photos Daniel. I particularly like the one of Doug looking back towards his scope with a very impish expression.

I reckon you wouldn't have needed a red light to find your way at night for some days!

Good to hear you're safe home, Jen.

Stepping outside today, I have to say how lucky we were with last weekend's weather.

There is a hot (30+deg) blustery wind and probably dust blown in from up north which would have been quite uncomfortable during the day.

And, of course, given the previous week, we could have been flooded out!

Magic!
