I'm just back from 4 days in the Snowy Mountains. My brother and I and our partners took part in the Snowy Ride for the Steve Walter Foundation to raise money for cancer research.
3280 riders took part (

) and I must say I was impressed with the way the event was organised. There was just no fuss or bother at any checkpoints.

It was thoroughly enjoyable.

I have heaps of photos of motorbikes, but I thought I'd just quickly post a few more general shots for your enjoyment.
1. The unit we stayed in at Lake Crackenback Resort.
2. A bridge at Lake Crackenback.
3. More Lake Crackenback.
4. Dead tree at Lake Crackenback.
5. A blue Goldwing amongst bikes of all sorts (Berridale Checkpoint)
6. A Can Am Spyder at Thredbo.
7. The front row and a bit of bikes assembling for the mass ride into Thredbo on Saturday arvo. This is just the tiniest fraction of the bikes there!
8. Snow gums at Charlotte Pass.
